Consumer Analyst Vivien Azer Joins Cowen’s Equity Research Department

Cowen Group, Inc. (“Cowen”) (NASDAQ:COWN) today announced that Vivien Azer has joined Cowen and Company’s Equity Research department as a Director to cover the Beverages and Tobacco sectors. Ms. Azer, based in New York, reports to Robert Fagin, Cowen’s Director of Research.

Ms. Azer joins Cowen from Citigroup, where she worked in equity research since 2004. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and Psychology from College of William and Mary and an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
