Atlanta CPR Announces New 1 Hour BLS Certification Evening Classes

Atlanta CPR, an Atlanta, Georgia based company that provides CPR training, has announced that they are now offering evening classes for those who cannot make their daytime schedules. The company recently stated that they are now providing 1 hour classes in the evening for those interested in BLS and CPR certification and will provide an AHA Certification eCard at the end of class.

Steven Jackson, the lead instructor for the company says, “We know that most people are busy working during the daytime so we wanted to provide class schedules that work for everyone. These classes can be taken in the evenings at 7:00 p.m. or during the day beginning at 9:00 a.m. We offer a 1 hour BLS blass everyday.”

The instructors at Atlanta CPR are all fully credentialed by the American Heart Association for their Basic Life Support and Cardiac Life Support. The curriculum is based on the guidelines that have been set forth by the American Heart Association. Those who attend the classes and meet all of the requirements during the coursework are awarded their AHA Certification cards at the end of each class.

“These are certifications that are necessary for some,” says Jackson. “Police officers, correctional officers, many people that one would not think would require CPR training are required to maintain certification. These classes are not only for those in the medical field. We have a lot of teachers, daycare workers and others who just want to be prepared if and when something happens.”

Jackson adds that the company offers a HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED or automated external defibrillator blended course that is designed to teach those who have little to no actual medical training. He says that most of their clientele have no medical training and that the instructors have experience in training those who are not in the medical field.

Those who are interested can learn more about Atlanta CPR on their newly launched website. They offer a number of courses including ACLS recertification, BLS for healthcare providers, Red Cross First Aid CPR and many others. The Heartcode ACLS Providers course is web-based and enables students to take the course through e-learning. Those who take and successfully complete the online portion of the course will then be awarded a certificate that allows them to take the in person skills session, which is taught by a trained instructor from the school. Students are required to pass both the online portion of the course and the skills portion in order to receive their ACLS certification card.

The school also offers an AHA First Air CPR AED combination course that is designed for anyone, particularly those with little to no actual medical training. Jackson states that this course is a good one for teachers and others who are in other fields aside from the medical field but still need the training and certification that the course offers. This course and others can be taken as a 1 hour evening certification class.

Jackson says that the majority of their courses can now be taken during the daytime or during the evening. The Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR AED course begins each day at 11 a.m. and ends at noon. Those who are interested in learning more about any of these courses, when they are available or the cost for training and certification can do so on the company’s official website. The website outlines the course schedules and when each one is available, as well as offering directions to the locations where courses are given.

Atlanta CPR is certified by the American Heart Association for training and educating the general public as well as medical professionals in CPR and various other certifications. Jackson states that they are located conveniently in Atlanta and offer courses that are required for any number of jobs from policemen and firemen to teachers, security guards, daycare workers, home health aides and others. Those interested can learn more about the company or contact them directly through their website.
