Thomas has over 30 years of banking and insurance industry experience as agency manager and director of client relations with BB&T-Oswald Trippe and as a senior vice president with SunTrust Bank of Southwest Florida.

A native of Clearwater, Florida, Thomas holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida, with a major in banking and finance. He has attended executive and leadership development programs at the University of Oklahoma and University of Houston and has graduated from chamber leadership programs in Lee and Pinellas counties.
