NephroGenex to Present at the Cowen and Company 35th Annual Health Care Conference

NephroGenex, Inc. (Nasdaq:NRX), a pharmaceutical company focused on the development of therapeutics to treat kidney disease, today announced that Chief Executive Officer Pierre Legault and President and Chief Scientific Officer J. Wesley Fox will present a corporate overview of the Company and meet with investors at the Cowen and Company 35th Annual Health Care Conference in Boston.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 4 at 8:00 am EST at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel.

In the presentation, Mr. Legault and Mr. Fox will review the Company’s Pyridorin clinical program for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy, a chronic, degenerative disease of the kidney affecting approximately 6 million patients in the U.S. for whom there are few therapeutic options. The Company launched its Phase 3 trial with Pyridorin in the second quarter of 2014.
