SciQuest’s Charitable Fund Donates to Organizations Supporting National and Regional Veterans

SciQuest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SQI), a leading provider of cloud-based business automation solutions for spend management, today announced the latest charitable contributions from its SciQuest Charitable Fund. In partnership with the Triangle Community Foundation, this year’s grant supports organizations that work closely with regional and national veterans to provide emotional and financial stability.

Created in 2011, the SciQuest Charitable Fund provides support to 501c3 organizations on a bi-annual basis, and has donated more than $190,500 to 29 organizations since its inception in 2011. The year’s spring donation recipients include:

  • CASA, an organization that provides disabled and formerly homeless veterans with safe, permanent and affordable homes in the Raleigh-Durham area.
  • Dress for Success of the Triangle, an organization that helps female veterans achieve and maintain financial independence by overcoming challenges such as PTSD, homelessness and lack of transportation through job acquisition and financial management courses, therapy, career counseling and image coaching.
  • Impact a Hero, an organization that offers immediate and ongoing emotional and financial support to severely-wounded combat veterans and their families.
  • NC Heroes Fund, an organization that provides North Carolina veterans and their families with financial support to overcome temporary financial hardships.

“On behalf of everyone at SciQuest, we are honored to provide support to those organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for our veterans,” said Stephen Wiehe, president and CEO of SciQuest. "Over the past five years, the SciQuest Charitable Fund has had the opportunity to work with many deserving organizations that are committed to making an impact on both a local and national level, and we look forward to offering continued support.”
