Littlejohn & Co., LLC (“Littlejohn”), a private investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, today announced that Farrukh Bezar has joined the firm as an Operating Advisor. Mr. Bezar brings more than 25 years of transportation and logistics industry expertise as a strategist and analyst, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at CSX Corporation, responsible for leading the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
In this role, Mr. Bezar will work closely with Littlejohn’s transportation and logistics team to identify attractive investment opportunities and support our logistics portfolio companies as they refine their go-to-market strategies, drive growth, and improve profitability.

Prior to joining CSX in May 2019, Mr. Bezar founded and led Lynwood Partners, a transportation and logistics advisory firm. His previous experience includes senior leadership roles within the transportation and logistics functions at Clarendon, Booz Allen Hamilton, and A.T. Kearney. He also previously held sales and marketing positions at the CSX, Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company and served as a financial analyst with Chase Manhattan Bank.
Mr. Bezar holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA also from Northwestern. He currently serves on the boards of Littlejohn portfolio company, Magnate Worldwide, as well as STG and the Northwestern Transportation Advisory Board.
