UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / October 29, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Alan Goldberg for his excellence in photography and education. An educator, photographer and creative professional, Mr. Goldberg serves as the president of Minds Eye Photos, where he combines decades of artistic expertise with a lifelong commitment to education and innovation.
About Alan Goldberg
Mr. Goldberg has cultivated an exceptional career that bridges the worlds of art, photography and education. His journey began in Philadelphia, where he worked part-time as a teenager for a clothing manufacturer. Those early years taught him every aspect of production, from creating patterns to managing shipping and logistics, setting the foundation for his future work in the visual and creative industries. In his late twenties, he advanced into professional roles with a children's clothing manufacturer and later a career-wear apparel company, gaining valuable experience in design and production management.
Mr. Goldberg's passion for photography emerged alongside his work in the apparel industry. After earning an associate degree in arts and sciences from the Community College of Philadelphia and a bachelor's degree in psychology from La Salle University, he purchased his first 35 mm camera and began experimenting with visual storytelling. His early work as a production photographer for Good Lad Company and later for Minds Eye Photos helped him refine his artistic eye. He later obtained a master's degree in elementary education from Holy Family University, enabling him to combine his creative instincts with his teaching.
With more than two decades of experience in education, Mr. Goldberg taught science in Paterson, New Jersey and Florida, where he inspired students to explore creativity and observation through photography. During his tenure in the Paterson School District, his vice principal encouraged him to photograph musicians performing at a local venue. This opportunity reunited his passion for professional photography. That experience led him to assume leadership of Minds Eye Photos in 2010, where he continues to specialize in concert photography, digital artistry and fine art exhibitions. Some of the musicians he has photographed include Billy Joel, Charlie Daniels, John Densmore, Robby Krieger and Tito Puente Jr.
Throughout his artistic career, Mr. Goldberg has participated in more than 50 exhibitions, including a dozen solo shows. His work has been featured internationally, with appearances at Art Basel Miami and Miami Art Week in 2022 and 2023, 2024 and he is set to return in 2025. He has also exhibited at the NY Art Expo, Art San Diego, Paris Art Expo and at a Cannes gallery during the Cannes Film Festival, milestones he considers among the highlights of his career.
Mr. Goldberg recently started a women's casual and cruise wear line featuring his artwork as the prints on the garments and accessories.
A Career of Passion and Purpose
Mr. Goldberg's art is characterized by its depth and emotion. John Haffey, the publisher of Art World News, upon seeing his work, remarked, "It is refreshingly unique and beautiful." Mr. Goldberg uses his camera and software to transform visual experiences into expressive works that capture the essence of his subjects. One of his photographs, which won an international competition, was later auctioned for $2,200 to benefit the Dove House Children's Advocacy Center, underscoring his commitment to community and social causes.
Over the years, Mr. Goldberg has earned numerous distinctions, including recognition in Marquis Who's Who in America, Marquis Who's Who Top Artist and Marquis Who's Who Industry Leader. He credits much of his success to two mentors: Dr. Victor P. Satinsky, a physician and researcher who taught him the importance of perseverance and intellectual rigor, and Rick Friedman, a renowned photographer who continues to serve as a mentor and friend.
Outside his professional life, Mr. Goldberg enjoys yoga, hiking and sightseeing. He continues to find inspiration in the world around him, constantly exploring new subjects and artistic perspectives. Looking ahead, he hopes to see his work displayed in additional galleries worldwide and in the homes of patrons who appreciate his creative vision. Guided by curiosity and a lifelong love of learning, he continues to shape the world of photographic art with passion and purpose.
