The promotion event of the Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo (AIE) was held Thursday in Beijing.

Themed “Bay Area Intelligence, Globally Embraced,” the AIE will take place in Zhuhai and Macao from December 4 to 6, 2025.

The expo will feature six themed pavilions. Macao primarily focuses on smart electronic products, hosting three themed pavilions: Smart Communication and IoT, Smart Audio-Visual and Metaverse, and Venture Capital and International Exhibition.

Zhuhai’s venue will emphasize smart machinery, featuring three pavilions: Smart Equipment and Industrial Internet, Intelligent Transportation and Future Mobility, and Smart Home and Health Technology.

Positioned as a “Technology Trendsetter, Global Networking Hub, and Industry Accelerator,” the expo aims to establish an international platform for sharing innovations in smart manufacturing, said Liu Ying, executive deputy secretary-general of China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC) and secretary-general of the AIE Organizing Committee.

The expo will combine forums and exhibitions, hosting over 50 business-matching activities, and expecting over 70,000 professional attendees.

The expo is guided by the Department of Commerce and the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, hosted by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC), and supported by the Executive Committee of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, and Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government.
