UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 30, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Dylan S. Spinks for his expertise in corporate security leadership and risk management, celebrating a career dedicated to protecting organizations and strengthening national security. Currently serving as a senior manager of executive protection and travel security at PwC, Mr. Spinks has over a decade of experience in the field. In this role, he leads global protective operations, develops enterprise security strategies, and advises senior executives on threats to business continuity and employee safety.

Training as the Foundation for Success
Before beginning his corporate career, Mr. Spinks earned a bachelor's degree in criminology and political science with a concentration in international affairs from Florida Southern College in 2014. After graduation, he served as a uniform division officer with the U.S. Secret Service in Washington, D.C., later becoming a special agent for the FBI, where he served for four years.
During his tenure with the Secret Service and FBI, Mr. Spinks gained invaluable experience in high-pressure environments, learning to remain calm and decisive in complex situations. He credits much of his success to the rigorous training provided by federal academies and continued professional development.
"I would definitely say it's my training from the different academies I've been through, whether it's the Secret Service or the FBI. That molded me into the person I am," Mr. Spinks says.
Mr. Spinks completed both the uniform police training program and the criminal investigator training program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. He has continued building his expertise through professional development, earning credentials in Google cybersecurity and IBM cybersecurity analysis. He is currently pursuing the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation, the gold standard in security management.
He remains active in his professional community through memberships in the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the Global Association for Security Professionals, the FBI Agents Association and the U.S. Secret Service Association
Transitioning to Cybersecurity
After leaving the FBI, where he had earned several performance awards for his investigative work and crisis response capabilities, Mr. Spinks spent time as a program manager for Guidehouse in Virginia. At Guidehouse, he led initiatives to strengthen federal cybersecurity programs and coordinated cross-agency security efforts.
Mr. Spinks joined his current company, Accenture Federal Services, in 2024 as a business engagement manager. In this vital role, he oversees security initiatives that include finding any potential risks and ensuring operational readiness. He also develops and tracks key performance metrics. His leadership has supported multimillion-dollar federal contracts, improving response times and security posture across large-scale projects. He maintains active involvement in the security profession through his memberships in the American Society for Industrial Security and the Global Association for Security Professionals.
Future Goals and Leadership Vision
After leaving federal service, where he was recognized with multiple performance awards for his investigative work and crisis response, Mr. Spinks transitioned into the private sector. He first served as a program manager at Guidehouse in Virginia, where he led initiatives to strengthen federal cybersecurity programs and coordinated cross-agency security efforts.
In 2024, Mr. Spinks joined Accenture Federal Services as a business engagement manager. In that role, he oversaw security initiatives that included identifying enterprise risks, ensuring operational readiness, and tracking key performance metrics.
