Exclusive interview opportunity with "The First John"

We would like to present an opportunity to interview "The First John", Jose Torres, prior to the national movie release.

NEWARK, NJ, May 16, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This may be, by far, one of the most unique cases in American history. After you review the summary below and read more online, contact us at contact@picoalition.com and let us know that you are interested in being considered for the exclusive pre-release interview.

Jose Torres, a businessman and an accountant for over 20 years, was convicted federally of four counts of The White Slave Traffic Act of 1910 (aka The Mann Act) for hiring consensual adult escorts. Prosecutor AUSA Emma Spiro used the 1910 statute to charge Torres. The 1910 White Slave Traffic Act was passed to stop blacks from turning white women into prostitutes and has very vague language that was used to apply to the "John" Jose Torres. Torres, like most customers of escorts, went into online websites Backpage and Eros and called ads to initiate the encounters.

Charging johns federally with a crime that carries 20 years is a dangerous precedent, especially in states like New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. The escort only has to cross state lines to get federal jurisdiction. The DOJ is now expected to use this statute in tri-state areas like Greater NYC and Washington DC to target opposing politicians, athletes, lobbyists, musicians, judges, journalists, business owners or just about any public figure.

The 1910 White Slave Traffic Act congressional transcript (page 9037) states that "The legislation...does not attempt to regulate the practice of voluntary prostitution, but aims solely to prevent panderers and procurers from compelling thousands of woman and girls against their will and desire to enter and continue in a life of prostitution.". It further states "the characteristics which distinguishes the white slave trade from immorality in general is that the women who are the victims of the trafficking are unwillingly forced to practice prostitution. The term white slave includes only those women and girls who are literally slaves." Clearly there is something wrong with charging a John with this federal crime. This statute was written for pimps and sex traffickers who force women into prostitution.

AUSA Emma Spiro recently resigned, in January 2024, from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark, New Jersey for undisclosed reasons. The defendant Torres presented serious allegations of impropriety and corruption against AUSA Spiro for taking a case from private practice to the DOJ. AUSA Spiro was previously employed by NYC law firm Sher Tremonte. While she was employed by Sher Tremonte, they were representing prostitutes in a proposed civil case against Torres. Spiro left Sher Tremonte for her new DOJ job and in less than 60 days initiated criminal charges against her former employer's adversary, Jose Torres, which violated federal law. The facts further suggest a tale of a private lawyer, Emma Spiro, impersonating a federal witness to create a false tip to the FBI. Emma Spiro is joined by federal prosecutor Bruce Keller along with Shawn Barnes who, according to public record, have a history of corruption and falsifying evidence.

To add weight to an empty case, AUSA Emma Spiro created defamatory press releases and made false statements to Federal District Judges and Magistrates to color the defendant as if he were violent. All the facts show a very different story. Every single statement from each escort is absent of any claim of violence. Not one escort had a single bruise, nor any medical complaint, nor injury of any kind.
