All Electrical Training Ltd Will Offer Exciting New Solar PV Courses In Summer 2024

The training will provide instructions on solar panel and battery installation and maintenance over two to four days.

Leading electrical training centre All Electrical Training will offer various solar PV courses in the summer of 2024. The training will assist qualified professionals in installing and commissioning photovoltaic (PV) systems and batteries.

Two new courses will run from June 3rd until December 17th this year. The first is the BPEC Solar PV Mapped Course, a four-day comprehensive curriculum covering PV system basics, including design, fitting and maintenance. By the end, participants will understand more about solar PV installation’s technical and legal aspects, allowing them to comply with existing regulations.

The second course is the BPEC Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) Course. It runs for two days, introducing students to the emerging field of electrical storage solutions. Participants will upskill themselves in a safe environment and comply with relevant laws.

“We’re incredibly excited to be introducing these new courses,” a company spokesperson said. “It will provide aspiring professionals with an understanding of solar PV and battery technology, allowing them to deliver more value to their clients.”

The solar PV courses will include practical assessments to determine whether students are mastering new knowledge. Certifications are recognised by MCS operators, the Harlow-based firm confirms, but not overseen by OFQUAL, the UK education regulator.

To enrol, participants must meet the prerequisites for the various courses on All Electrical Training’s website. These include N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Level 3 in a formal craft qualification with Inspection & Testing. Trainees must also have BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installation.

Certificates from both courses are valid for five years. The solar course is £750 while the shorter EESS course is £499. All Electrical Training advises applicants to book early to avoid disappointment.

“The demand for skilled solar panel installers and maintenance crews is growing exponentially,” the training outfit says. “The UK and countries overseas need people with the skills to install new units. Therefore, we believe becoming a solar panel installer is a career opportunity. Harnessing energy from the sun is an essential part of the energy transition and meeting net-zero targets.”
