In an important milestone on our journey in building a leading, socially responsible company, Pentair has been awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis in our first enterprise-wide sustainability assessment. EcoVadis is one of the world’s largest and most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, assessing more than 85,000 companies across 200 sectors and 160 countries since 2007.
EcoVadis sustainability scorecards provide detailed insight into 21 indicators in four themes — including Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement — to give an overall score of a company’s sustainability performance. With our Silver Rating, Pentair is ranked within the top 7% of companies in our industry.
This assessment reflects Pentair’s commitment to accelerate our efforts to contribute to the development of a sustainable and responsible society and builds upon our Social Responsibility Strategic Targets and efforts highlighted in our 2020 Corporate Responsibility Report.
