The move comes as the Canadian company just announced their first slate of films for fans to vote on through their blockchain platform and looks to scale their platform, after launching to a predominantly cryptocurrency-based audience, to a more diverse group of movie fans around the globe.
Blake-Thomas will be working closely with Mogul Co-Chairs of Film Financing, Paul Sparkes and Gorav Seth, as well as Academy Award-nominated Cindy Cowan, Mogul's Head of Business Development, in supporting Mogul-funded films by curating on-location content. This includes engaging and immersive opportunities for Mogul users and STARS holders throughout the entire script to screen process.
Having been in the film industry for over 14 years, Blake-Thomas understands both sides of the camera. She has worked on over 40 films and TV shows featured on Disney Plus, ABC, Showtime, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks and more.
