Cybersecurity Solutions Provider Equipping Individuals and Organizations with Information, Resources and Solutions to Improve their Security Posture

GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity solutions leader enabling organizations to make smarter decisions and minimize risk, today announced in celebration of Cybersecurity Awareness Month a series of curated and engaging resources and events that will occur throughout the month of October. GuidePoint will take users on a “Voyage Beyond the Horizon”, showcasing a comprehensive schedule of expert insights, educational papers, blogs, virtual events, and weekly live streams. This informative content will delve into a captivating mix of speculative and practical insights, and examine how external factors and trends are reshaping cybersecurity disciplines both now and for years to come.

To help sustain cybersecurity awareness beyond October and into future generations, the company will be donating children's education books: “R is for Red Team” and “B is for Blue Team”, authored by Curtis Brazzell, Managing Security Consultant at GuidePoint Security. These cybersecurity alphabet picture books' feature terms and concepts related to both offensive and defensive security and can help the early stage advancement of future cybersecurity professionals.

“As we regularly see in the daily news cycle, cybersecurity threats and challenges continue to impact organizations and users,” said Gary Brickhouse, CISO, GuidePoint Security. “While threat actors are consistently evolving their techniques, they also continue to succeed using familiar playbooks, highlighting the ongoing need to maintain and update cybersecurity awareness programs. Through our resources and events offered during the month, our goal is to equip individuals and companies with the information, resources and solutions they need to improve their security posture and minimize cyber risk.”
