American Water Named 2024 Public Company Board of the Year by National Association of Corporate Directors New Jersey Chapter

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., announced today that it has been named as the 2024 Public Company Board of the Year by the National Association of Corporate Directors New Jersey Chapter (NACD). NACD annually recognizes public, private, and nonprofit companies and their boards, which have made valuable contributions and advanced exemplary board leadership.

The Public Company Board of the Year award will be presented at a ceremony on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Pleasantdale Château in West Orange, N.J. Victor Carstarphen, City of Camden Mayor, will present the award to American Water.
