Redis Achieves Cloud Security Alliance STAR Level 2 Certification

The attestation validates Redis security and privacy controls for medium and high-risk deployments, and supports greater trust among existing and potential customers

Redis, the world’s fastest data platform, has achieved Cloud Service Alliance (CSA) STAR Level 2 certification, the most comprehensive attestation for transparency, privacy, and security among Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). In earning the advanced certification, Redis has been proven to uphold the latest and most thorough security and privacy standards across its operations and products. It’s a critical assurance for organizations across industries that rely on Redis to power their applications and experiences.

The CSA STAR Level 2 certification—specifically designed to assess the security and privacy of CSPs operating in medium- to high-risk environments—requires rigorous, independent assessment, and validates the integrity of Redis processes and practices across the CSA’s Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM). The matrix comprises 197 control objectives across 17 domains covering all key aspects of cloud technology.
