Adeia Presents Latest Developments in Clickable Video at the 2024 IEEE/CVF Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference

By: PRLog

SAN JOSE, Calif. - June 17, 2024 - PRLog -- Adeia Inc., a leading research and development and intellectual property licensing company known for bringing innovations in the media and semiconductor technology sectors to market, is demonstrating the most recent developments in clickable video at the 2024 Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) conference at the Seattle Convention Center in Seattle, Washington, from June 17-21, 2024.

Sponsored by IEEE Computer Society and the Computer Vision Foundation (CVF), CVPR is hailed as the industry's premier annual event focused on computer vision.

The Adeia team will be on hand at booth #16 on Wednesday, June 19 from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm PDT to present their award-winning extended clickable video invention. Adeia's demo will come alongside demos from industry leaders such as Meta, Sony, LG, Amazon Microsoft, Hyundai, Google, Netflix, AMD and Apple.

"Adeia's extended clickable video technology enables viewers to click on objects within video content using a touch screen, mouse or remote control to access product details, purchase options or other information. It then uses invisible watermarks to access hidden information embedded in non-digital images, transforming them into clickable objects and bridging the gap between online and offline advertising and commerce. Watermarking can replace other methods of enabling clickable objects by eliminating embedded metadata, simplifying video delivery," said Serhad Doken, chief technology officer at Adeia.

"Our inventive engineers saw the rise in video consumption and developed a technology that expands e-commerce activity while providing new monetization opportunities for content creators. During the CVPR conference, we look forward to exchanging insights about clickable video, computer vision and more," said Doken.
