Major Sponsor’s Firm Mission Matches The Upcoming Colorado Family Law Institute’s Theme: “If It’s Broke, Fix It!”

New Leaf Family, a Colorado family law firm dedicated to helping clients through some of life’s biggest transitions, is pleased to serve as a Platinum Sponsor at the 2024 Colorado Family Law Institute. They look forward to this year’s theme: “If It’s Broke, Fix It.”

Golden, CO, June 27, 2024 — The Colorado Family Law Institute, held in Vail in August and run by the Colorado Bar Association (COBAR), is a significant continuing education event for every family law firm in the state. New Leaf Family has supported this event over the years for a variety of reasons.

“We believe it is an excellent opportunity for practitioners to not only deepen their knowledge and hone their skills but also to meet one another in a collegial environment, when so much of what we do is focused on more adversarial pursuits. Having an event like this is good for us as lawyers and good for us as a profession.” remarks Christopher Anderson, owner and lead attorney at New Leaf Family.

This year’s theme is focused on practical approaches and effective solutions in family law, which is apt to New Leaf Family’s message and mission.

New Leaf Family is guided by two core premises: an unrelenting focus on understanding client’s goals and aligning firm representation to meet those goals and the elimination of the billable hour.

Christopher also reflected on the origins of New Leaf Family: “Having begun my practice of family law some 20 years ago, I joined my co-founder to create New Leaf Family to address what we saw as broken in family law. We tackled this from the root causes and built New Leaf Family from the ground up as a ‘clean sheet’ law firm.”

The firm hopes to reach other like-minded attorneys at this year’s event who want to one day retire knowing that their team and their clients will be well taken care of.

New Leaf Family is hiring lawyers and paralegals who believe, as the firm does, that there is a better way to practice family law-better for themselves and better for clients. For those who are interested in connecting with or working for New Leaf Family, the firm’s booth at the event is located in the Exhibit Hall. They will be there starting at noon on Thursday, August 8th, until the conference closes at noon on Saturday, August 10th.

New Leaf Family is a growing family law firm based in Colorado. They pride themselves on guiding families through difficult transitions the right way, without unnecessary drama and hassle.
