NEW YORK - Aug. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- Fukkatsu NYC, a New York-based unisex streetwear brand, will be revealing their upcoming Spring/Summer '22 collection at the invite-only Agenda Show in Atlantic City, NJ starting today, August 19th until Saturday, August 21st. As the leading streetwear trade show, Agenda brings together buyers, brands, investors, distributors, and media from around the globe, to build partnerships, participate in the streetwear community, and grow their businesses.
Inspired by the iconic art, music, and fashion trends of NYC in the 1980s and 1990s, Fukkatsu aims to resurrect the culture of the city at its prime through their sustainable clothing that features purposeful graphics with social justice themes. The SS22 collection, inspired by the vibrant colors of summer in New York City, will include a range of cozy crewnecks, sweatpants, tees and shorts that can be worn as sets or separately. Not only is the apparel made from 100% locally sourced recycled cotton in Los Angeles, California, but the shipping packages are also made from compost in Utah.
"It's dope to see the growth of the brand from our launch in 2016, to hosting our first standalone pop-up shop in the spring of 2019, to participating at the top streetwear show, just a few years later. We have a lot coming up and can't wait for the world to see what we've been working on," says Fukkatsu founder, Jalil Murray.
While they will be debuting their SS22 collection at Agenda, Fukkatsu is also gearing up to release their Fall/Winter '21 collection. The FW21 collection makes a statement with the fall-colored hoodies, sweatpants, short and long sleeve tees highlighting Black Lives Matter. The collection will be released throughout October, November and December online and at their location at Artists & Fleas in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Customers can also pre-order now on FukkatsuNY.com.
