Multi-talented American Hip Hop star and rapper, Christopher Diamond, has announced the upcoming release of his first body of work slated for the 14th of April, 2022. The yet-to-be-released EP by the American vocalist, best known through his rap name Chris Crillz, contains a mixture of street rap songs and one motivational track.
Described as a quite different and uniquely wired musician, Chris Crillz says he isn't afraid to break the rules and push the boundaries of perception with his deeply layered and well-crafted production. Born in New York and raised in Syracuse, NY, the talented musician makes music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, and tell his story his way.
For Chris, music is the vehicle by which he expresses himself. Growing up in a low-income area, and facing the complex and grim realities of the hood, inspired the rapper to articulate his stories through rap to highlight shared experiences and connect audiences across a broad spectrum. Chris Crillz combines various unique and experimental sounds with his intricate wordplay and often dabbles in various contrasting flows, resulting in Hip hop centered fusions that are still firmly stitched together by emotive undertones.
Speaking on what sparked his desire to choose rap as a form of expression, the rising star lists the likes of 50 Cent, G-unit, Dipset, Jay-Z, Cassidy, d-block, and Lil Wayne as key figures that have influenced his style and motivated him to strive for excellence.
