Privacy coins worth buying on February 15, 2022: XMR, ZEC and DCR

Monero XMR/USD was developed as a means of enabling transactions to occur privately and with anonymity. 

Zcash ZEC/USD is a decentralized cryptocurrency specifically focused on privacy and anonymity that uses the zk-SNARK zero-knowledge proof technology.

Decred DCR/USD utilizes a hybrid consensus system as a means of being decentralized, sustainable and self-ruling. 

Should you buy Monero (XMR)?

On February 15, 2022, Monero (XMR) had a value of $178.93.

The all-time high value of Monero (XMR) was on January 9, 2018, when the token reached a value of $542.33. The token was $363.4 higher in value at its ATH, or by 203%.

When we go over the performance in January, Monero (XMR) saw its highest point of value on January 1, when it reached a value of $251.85.

Its lowest point was on January 24, when the token decreased in value to $137.24. Here we can see a decrease of $114.61 or by 45%.

However, from January 24 to February 15, the token saw an increase in value of $41.69 or by 30%

With this in mind, XMR can reach $200 in value by the end of March 2022.

Should you buy Zcash (ZEC)?

On February 15, 2022, Zcash (ZEC) had a value of $128.53

The all-time high value of Zcash (ZEC) was on October 29, 2016, when the token reached a value of $3,191.93. At its ATH, the token was $3,063.4 higher in value or by 2383%.

Going over the performance of the token throughout the previous month, we can see that Zcash (ZEC) had its highest value on January 4, with a value of $154.82.

Its lowest point of value was on January 24, when the token saw a decrease in value to $83.5. This gives us an indication that the token decreased in value by $71.32 or by 46%.

However, from the span of January 24 to February 15, the token saw an increase in value of $45.03 or by 54%.

With that in mind, ZEC can reach $150 by the end of March 2022.

Should you buy Decred (DCR)?

On February 15, 2022, Decred (DCR) had a value of $68.67.

The all-time high value of Decred (DCR) was on April 17, 2021, when the token reached a value of $247.35. This means that at its ATH, DCR was $178.68 higher in value or by 260%.

When we go over the performance of the token last month, we can see that Decred (DCR) had its highest value point on January 15, when it increased to $77.92 in value.

Its lowest point of value was on January 24, when the token decreased in value to $51.13. This marked a decrease in value of $26.79 or 34%.

However, from January 24 to February 15, the token saw an increase in value of $17.54 or 34%. With that in mind, DCR can reach $75 by the end of March 2022.
