ALGO price movement: can Algorand break the $1 price barrier?

By: Invezz

Algorand ALGO/USD is a blockchain platform as well as cryptocurrency specifically designed to function similarly to any payment processor. However, it utilizes a consensus mechanism that’s known as Pure-Proof-of-Stake.

ALGO is the native cryptocurrency token used to power the Algorand platform, which secures Algorand and rewards the platform’s operators.

Algorand availability on Amazon Web Services as a catalyst for growth

On February 19, 2022, we covered how Algorand (ALGO) launched a $20M incentive program to boost Ethereum compatibility.

The cloud solutions provider known as Guardrails has announced the availability of the Algorand blockchain on Amazon Web Services. This announcement came on February 21, 2022, through an official Twitter post.

This makes it a possibility for users to securely deploy as well as operate nodes, and Guardrail will distribute source code to its customers and keep them up to date on the latest MainNet node versions found on the Algorand GitHub.

This release has been validated by Algorand’s core research team and has been certified for high-stakes participation.

This could lead to an increase in the value of the ALGO token, where it can go above the $1 price barrier.

Should you buy Algorand (ALGO)?

On February 22, 2022, Algorand (ALGO) had a value of $0.7841.

To truly see what this value point means for the ALGO token, we will be going over its all-time high value, alongside its performance last month.
