YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Feb. 24, 2022 - PRLog -- Sweet Memories Vintage Tees, a Small Town-Woman Owned Apparel Line went from Zero to Hero. In less than 2 years, the brand expanded from one client, Good Humor™ Ice Cream to 35 new license agreements including the U.S. Army®, and the ©National Packard Museum of Warren Ohio.

UNIQUE SPACE

Linda Barton, CEO states, "We have been working events and festivals for the last year and by popular demand, we decided to open a Unique Industrial Retail Space Experience." The space in located on 1282 Trumbull Ave Girard Ohio next to New Dawn Design, the manufacture of the clothing line. The boutique will be open Mon -Fri from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM daily for people to shop. "Customers can shop and explore behind the scenes to see how our shirts are made," says Barton.

THE DESIGN

Abbey Scoville, YSU graduate, the creator of the nostalgic designs' states, "I've taken America's favorite brands, old archives, war posters, US PATENS, advertisements and given them new life on shirts with a fun, retro look and vintage feel." She goes on to add that, "I love what I do as I'm an old soul. It's exciting to go digging through old archives and researching the history of all the brands that are an American Staple and resurrecting them in the fashion world."

GIVING BACK

Sweet Memories Vintage Tees are not only fashionable, but also rewarding. The company is giving-back to their community, as twenty percent of proceeds of the "Sweets" line benefits the Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley NICU. $11,907.73 was donated to ACH NICU from 2021 sales.

The newly released U.S. Army® collection's licensing revenue is devoted to U.S. Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs. The Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program is a quality-of-life program that directly supports readiness by providing a variety of community, Soldier, and Family support activities and services.

The Packard Collection, twenty percent benefits the preservation of history for the ©National Packard Museum of Warren Ohio. Barton states, "We believe that we have a social obligation to educate and provide opportunities for people of the community to not just sell a t-shirt but support a cause in the process."
