Denton Country Club Celebrates 100 Years

Denton County's Most Premier Private Club Honors Past and Plans for the Future as the Club Nears Capacity for Golf Memberships

ARGYLE, Texas - March 18, 2022 - PRLog -- Denton Country Club, established in 1922, proudly celebrates their 100th anniversary as the area's most prestigious member-owned club. This year, Denton Country Club was also voted the best private golf course of Denton County by the Denton County Commissioners Court for 2021.

Denton Country Club provides facilities and activities to meet all members' needs - Whether a part of an active family or a busy professional with a passion for sports and social activities.

DCC offers members robust golf and tennis programs, aquatic and fitness facilities as well as exciting social events year-round. DCC also offers golf and tennis programming full of classes and leagues for all ages. Among some of these exciting opportunities are member events like the Messinger Cup, Mother's and Father's Day Brunch, Easter Egg Hunt, Fourth of July and Sunday with Santa.

DCC recently opened a new state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor golf teaching facility to provide members with an enhanced training and practice experience that can be utilized year-round. Pickleball striping was also recently added to offer members convenient access to this popular activity.

While 2022 marks a historic milestone to honor the club's rich history, attention to future growth and expansion is underway to continue to meet the needs and wants of members. In 2021, a cap was placed on golfing memberships and very limited spots are currently available. There is no maximum number of Tennis and Social level memberships currently. Long-range planning is underway to identify potential expansion opportunities that will add value to DCC.
