Local Ventura/Oxnard Pro-Surfers and Musicians Host Event and Surf Film to Raise Money for Disadvantaged Communities

Oxnard, California Aug 25, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Project Moonlight, a nonprofit organization that educates basic lifesaving skills and donates medical supplies to disadvantaged communities around the world is partnering with Poison Well Records, a local indie punk rock label based in Ventura/Oxnard, and UFA Films, who have created an inspiring surf movie featuring Ventura/Oxnard local pro-surfers, to bring you a special film premiere and live music event.

During this event, there will be 8 live bands, a full surf film premiere, local vendors, a full bar with food, and raffle prizes. This event is dedicated to bringing together and inspiring the local Ventura/Oxnard community. All surfers in the film will be at the event, promoting the message of being proud of their hometown. Money raised during the event will go to Project Moonlight to help save lives in disadvantaged communities around the world. The event is open to the public and is appropriate for all ages.

The surf film "Locals Only" will be distributed worldwide in October 2022 featuring a soundtrack of local punk rock artists.
