By: PRLog

QUINCY, Mass. - Sept. 12, 2022 - PRLog -- Gentreo, the leader in next-generation estate planning, is proud to announce they were selected as one of ten companies to participate in the latest cohort of Morgan Stanley's Multicultural Innovation Lab.

Selected from over 2,500 established and growing companies from across the globe, Gentreo was founded by three women out to forever improve estate planning. From creating documents like wills and trusts to storing and sharing documents and other important information, to providing tools for emergencies to providing annual reviews and more, Gentreo is a critical tool for helping all protect who and what users love.  Gentreo provides online estate planning services to customers through relationships with businesses including financial planners, employee benefit providers, credit unions, banks and employers.  Gentreo is certified by the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) as a Woman Business Enterprise and was founded in 2018 by sisters Renee and Julie Fry, Mary Kate D'Souza and John Amaral as a way to make estate planning more accessible and affordable for all Americans.

About the Morgan Stanley Multicultural Innovation Lab

  • The Fall 2022 Multicultural Innovation Lab (MCIL) cohort includes the following companies that have innovative strategies across sectors such as education, energy, food and beverage, healthcare, legal, marketing, media and technology: Advocat, AMAKA Studio, AuditMate, Gentreo, Here Here Market, imagi, Kami, Perse, Physician 360 and Wearisma
  • With startups based in both the US and EMEA, MCIL's first global cohort will build upon the success of the previous 59 portfolio companies that have reached more than $670M combined valuation and have raised over $150M in additional funding to date after participating in the five-month accelerator program
  • The in-house accelerator program for technology and technology-enabled startups in the post-seed to Series A funding round stage targets companies with multicultural or women founders, co-founders, CTOs or other C-suite members who are developing innovative solutions across sectors. Now in its sixth year and with 69 total participating companies to date, the program is expanding globally for the first time, with participating companies in both the US and in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

"Joining the Morgan Stanley MCIL is a huge opportunity for us to grow Gentreo. We are looking forward to working with their team to ignite sales, build partnerships and continue to provide the next generation of estate planning solutions to our customers," said Gentreo CEO Renee Fry.
