Women-owned AK Dancewear showed support to local ballet company Avant Chamber Ballet by providing the costumes for the latter’s 10th-anniversary gala performance. The collaboration was part of AK Dancewear’s commitment to supporting local ballet companies and women’s choreographies across Texas.
AK Dancewear is a Dallas-based dance apparel and accessories maker. AK Dancewear tailor-made the costumes for Rhapsody in Blue, the ballet company’s piece for its anniversary gala performance. The costumes beautifully captured the essence of the choreography by Katie Puder, Avant Chamber Ballet's artistic director.
