Head of Venture capital talks on renewable energy investing

By: PRLog

In an online interview, the Head of Venture Capital for Zeus Investments, Bradley Abrahams, talks about the renewable energy market and its future position as a globally sought after investment.

SEOUL, South Korea - Sept. 25, 2023 - PRLog -- Davis: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. Can you tell us a little bit about your background and how you got involved in renewable energy investing?

Abrahams: Sure. I've been working in venture capital for a number of years now, I've always been interested in investing in companies that are making a positive impact on the world. When I started looking at renewable energy, I was really impressed by the potential of this sector to address some of the biggest challenges facing our planet, such as climate change and energy security.

Davis: What are some of the key trends you're seeing in renewable energy investing right now?

Abrahams: There are a few key trends that I'm watching closely. First, I'm seeing a growing interest from institutional investors in renewable energy. This is due to a number of factors, including the increasing awareness of climate change, the falling costs of renewable energy technologies, and the increasing regulatory support for renewable energy. Impact investing is now one of our fastest growing investment products.

Second, I'm seeing a lot of innovation happening in the renewable energy space. There are new technologies being developed all the time, and this is driving down costs and making renewable energy more competitive with fossil fuels.

Third, I'm seeing a growing focus on decarbonizing the transportation sector. This is being driven by the increasing popularity of electric vehicles and the development of new technologies for storing renewable energy.

Davis: What are some of the challenges facing renewable energy investors?

Abrahams: There are a few challenges that renewable energy investors need to be aware of. One challenge is the long-term nature of these investments. It can take many years for renewable energy projects to come to fruition, and investors need to be patient.

Another challenge is the regulatory environment. Renewable energy policies can change frequently, and this can make it difficult for investors to plan for the future. Finally, renewable energy projects can be complex and risky. Investors need to do their due diligence and make sure they understand the risks before they invest.

Davis: What are some of the most attractive investment opportunities in renewable energy right now?......Read more
