National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day is observed on October 8 (10.08) in recognition of the atomic weight of hydrogen: 1.008, with a goal of raising broader awareness of the limitless possibilities afforded by hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Hydrogen and fuel cells offer the opportunity to reduce carbon emissions dramatically while potentially creating millions of jobs.
