McCeil Johnson, J.D., will present at annual conference

University of Phoenix is pleased to share that McCeil Johnson, J.D., vice president of Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance, will present at the Women in Automotive annual conference. Johnson will lead a TEDTalk closing keynote presentation on how to successfully navigate negotiations, “Ignite the Future by Being a Better Negotiator” at the December 11-12 conference, titled “Ignite: Women in Automotive 2021 Conference.”

Hailing from Des Moines, Iowa, Johnson completed her education at the University of Iowa, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree, and completed her Juris Doctorate at the University of Iowa College of Law. In her current role as University of Phoenix’s vice president, Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance, Johnson provides leadership and management for the University’s institutional and college-specific accreditation and regulatory initiatives, including institutional, programmatic, state boards, and other regulatory functions. This fall, Johnson accepted an appointment to the University of Iowa College of Law Alumni Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Council.

Women in Automotive was founded by six industry female leaders who came together with the same interest in empowering and developing women in the auto industry. The philosophy is that this benefits both women and the automotive industry and will help facilitate attracting, hiring, training, mentoring and developing more women leaders industry wide.
