This presentation examines how generating real-world evidence (RWE) from heart failure patients requires clinical data elements not commonly found in administrative databases and has the potential to further understanding in heart failure management. Data were compared and contrasted from two different data sources, Veradigm’s PINNACLE® Registry, a large cardiovascular disease registry developed by the American College of Cardiology, with those identified in the Practice Fusion ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) database.
