About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Hyperscience Expands Board of Directors With the Strategic Appointment of Dali Rajic

Rajic adds significant operational and go-to-market experience amid company growth plans

Hyperscience, the Human Centered Automation company, today announced the appointment of Dali Rajic to the Board of Directors. In close partnership with the executive leadership team and full Board, Rajic will provide guidance to help differentiate Hyperscience’s proprietary AI and Machine Learning technology, aimed at driving repeatable revenue and operational growth strategies.

“Dali's background, experience and history of operational excellence will provide invaluable input for us in this next leg of our company’s journey,” said Charlie Newark-French, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Hyperscience. “Dali has scaled world-class organizations, adding tens of billions of dollars in revenue through a focus on driving customer value. At Hyperscience, we have a market-leading product that is changing lives. We are excited for Dali to help us build the organizational agility to support our growth-focused vision.”

A progressive cloud leader with nearly 25 years of experience in sales leadership and go-to-market operational roles, Rajic currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS), where he is focused on driving customer transformation, growing revenue and scaling the cloud business. Zscaler accelerates digital transformation so customers can be more agile, efficient, resilient, and secure. The Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange protects thousands of customers from cyberattacks and data loss by securely connecting users, devices, and applications in any location. Distributed across more than 150 data centers globally, the SSE-based Zero Trust Exchange is the world’s largest in-line cloud security platform. Prior to joining Zscaler, Rajic was the Chief Customer and Revenue Officer at AppDynamics, an application performance management software solution designed to support end-to-end customer success lifecycle models. With extensive leadership and sales experience, Rajic’s strategic counsel for building predictable and repeatable sales processes critical for hyper-growth and operational efficiency will be a game-changer.

In a statement issued by the Board of Directors: “Over the last few months, Hyperscience has remained committed to finding a strategic and scalable way of operating and bringing undeniable value to customers, employees and end-consumers. We welcome Dali and his demonstrated record of success to help provide Hyperscience an even greater opportunity to reach its true potential to transform the automation market.”

“As technology transformation continues to be prioritized amid corporate digitization, data needs to be reintegrated with better usability—and the only way to do that is with intelligence and automation,” said Rajic. “Hyperscience sits right at the point of convergence for enterprise organizations, making its application possibilities and opportunities endless. I look forward to providing support and advice to help scale the human centered automation vision of such a revolutionary company that’s poised to disrupt legacy ways of working.”

Hyperscience’s Board of Directors now includes Elliott Robinson, Ron Shah, Matt Turck and Betsy Atkins.
