STRIVE Closes $6M in Funding to Accelerate Growth

Future Communities Leads Series A Round with Participation from Athlete Investors, including Jonathan Taylor and Troy Smith

STRIVE, the only platform proven to optimize muscle performance for elite athletes and teams, today announced it closed $6 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Future Communities Capital, with participation from investors, including SeaChange Fund, SeedtoB Capital, Jas Ventures, Gaingels, Founders First, Macnica Investment Partners, fama Ventures, Biosphere Investment Group, and Thinkuvate. The round also included participation from Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts and former Heisman Trophy Winner, NFL and Ohio State University quarterback Troy Smith. Future Communities Capital Managing Director Rohit Gupta has joined STRIVE’s Board of Directors.

Over 215 professional and collegiate athletes and teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, EPL and NCAA use STRIVE to achieve and maintain peak performance with the industry’s most accurate and actionable muscle data. STRIVE’s partnerships with athlete investors including Jonathan Taylor and Troy Smith will help the company continue to innovate in order to help elite athletes and teams achieve and maintain peak performance. Taylor is coming off of a season in which he led the NFL in rushing and all purpose yards. Troy Smith is a legendary quarterback for The Ohio State University, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2006.

Numerous professional and major collegiate sports organizations, including the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, MLS’s Orlando City SC, English Premier League’s Leicester City and Manchester City, the University of Kentucky men’s basketball program and the U.S. Air Force are already using STRIVE to optimize performance.
