The 2022 Impact Report details Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s achievement in emissions reduction across both its operations and value chain, making significant progress towards the company's Science-Based Target goals. Williams-Sonoma, Inc. reduced its operational emissions by 24%, and executed its first long-term investment in renewable energy through a power purchase agreement (PPA) in Texas, supplying 100% wind energy to retail stores and distribution centers in the area. Initiatives to achieve the reduction across the value chain included new vendor engagement and preferred materials strategies to reduce Scope 3 emissions.

Additional highlights from the 2022 Impact Report include that Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is more than halfway to the 2025 goal to pay an additional $10M in Fair Trade Premiums and nearly halfway to the $50M investment in Nest Certified Ethically Handcrafted products. The investments in these programs impact the lives of tens of thousands of individuals globally.
