Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced the appointment of Senator Roy Blunt to the Tenet Board of Directors, effective immediately. Senator Blunt will serve as a member of the Audit Committee, Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, and Environmental, Social, and Governance Committee. This appointment expands the Board to 12 directors, 11 of whom are independent members.

He has served as a member of the Smithsonian Council for American Art, as President of the State Historical Society of Missouri, and as a member of the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees.

Senator Blunt is an Executive Fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, D. C. He also chairs the Advisory Board of the National Geospatial Agency of the U. S. Government and serves on the Southwest Airlines Board of Directors.
