Viamericas and Banco G&T Double Annual Viamistad Donation Campaign to Provide Educational and Recreational Camps for Guatemalans with Disabilities

The yearly donation campaign raises money for Guatemalans with disabilities to attend Viamericas’ educational and recreational Viamistad camps. Between November 2024 and March 2025, Viamericas and G&T will donate to Viamistad 20 cents of every transaction done through Viamericas to Banco G&T.

Now in its 17th year, Viamericas’ charitable organization, Viamistad, provides life-changing opportunities for Guatemalans with disabilities through summer camps, an inclusive school, and entrepreneurship programs. Each year, nearly 90 campers with disabilities attend the camp alongside local volunteers. Campers get the opportunity to form lasting friendships and develop important life skills. Attending Viamistad camps allows these individuals to challenge societal barriers, diminish the stigma around disabilities and promote greater understanding and inclusion within the community.
