Sunflower Bank, N.A. Hires John Sawyer as Chief Investment Officer & Director of Wealth Management and Private Banking

Sunflower Bank, N.A. (“Sunflower Bank”) is pleased to announce that John Sawyer has joined the bank as Chief Investment Officer & Director of Wealth Management and Private Banking. In this role, Sawyer is responsible for the strategy, management and growth of the bank’s wealth management services that include private banking, investment management, financial planning and personal trust services. Sunflower Bank is a $7.9 billion bank with a model of delivering relationship-driven, local decision-making with large bank solutions to locations throughout Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Texas.

Sawyer has over 30 years of investment experience with a proven track record leading trust, investment management, brokerage and RIA units at regional and community banks. As Chief Investment Officer, he directs and manages Sunflower Bank’s investment process and portfolio development. In addition, Sawyer is responsible for strengthening and expanding Sunflower Bank’s existing wealth management infrastructure to provide additional services to current clients and grow its client base.
