Siebert Financial Corp. Announces Formation of Advisory Committee

Siebert assembles all-star advisory board including Akon and Brandon Marshall for new initiatives in Technology, Sports and Entertainment.

Siebert Financial Corp. ("Siebert") today announced the formation of a new advisory committee composed of leaders from the worlds of finance, technology, sports, and entertainment. The committee will provide strategic guidance and expertise to Siebert as it embarks on an ambitious growth strategy.

The formation of the advisory committee is representative of Siebert’s efforts to combine specific industry experience with deep capital markets knowledge. The artist Akon and former NFL athlete turned media entrepreneur Brandon Marshall will join Wall Street professional Mick Solimene, Managing Director, Monroe Capital; Steven Geskos, Operating Partner, Fifth Down; entertainment entrepreneur Nick Jarjour, CEO, JarjourCo, and former Global Head of Song Management at Hipgnosis Songs Fund, becomes the advisory committee’s fifth member.

The Siebert Advisory Committee will meet regularly to discuss key developments and opportunities for the company. Each member will leverage their unique experience and network to bring value to Siebert in various ways.

Beyond Music, Akon has made significant contributions to philanthropy, particularly in Africa, through his Akon Lightning Africa initiative, which aims to provide electricity to millions of people across the continent.

Akon and Gebbia Entertainment have already formed a successful partnership through their co-management of Simien Sisters, a promising young female group of recording artists.
