Triton Digital Announces First Latin America Sales Network Podcast Ranker and 2024 Latin America Audio Insights Report

Reports unveil top sales networks and insights into podcast consumption and listening habits in Latin America

The report provides insights into the top 12 sales networks, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

Alongside the Sales Network Podcast Ranker, Triton Digital has released its 2024 Latin America Audio Insights Report, which provides insights into the evolving LATAM podcast landscape over the course of June 2023-May 2024, including listening habits and insights into the top podcasts and debuts from the LATAM Podcast Ranker.

According to the report, the most popular podcast genre was News (32% of downloads) followed by Comedy (17% of downloads). Other notable findings include:

  • Top podcast debuts included A Coach (Wondery), El Cielo Que Nunca Vi (SiriusXM Podcast Network), Escándalo Mexicano (Wondery).
  • The most downloaded episode overall was “Manchester City y la gloria del Mundial de Clubes” from Titulares Deportivos (Grupo BluRadio) with 460K downloads during the past year.
  • Spotify was the top player for New Episode RSS downloads (32%) followed by Android Unspecified App (18%).
  • Prisa Radio was the top publisher for Webcast Streaming during the past year.

The Latin America Audio Insights Report accompanies the June 2024 LATAM Podcast Ranker, providing insights into the Top 100 Podcasts in Latin America between June 3, 2024 and June 30, 2024, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service.

For this reporting period, the top three podcasts based on downloads included LOS40 MX - La Corneta (Prisa Radio), Mais Recentes (Radios Grupo Globo), and O Assunto (Grupo Globo).

There were several debuts for the month of June including Malu Gaspar - Conversa de Política (Radios Grupo Globo), La Viuda Negra (SiriusXM Podcast Network), Peláez y De Francisco en La W, fútbol y algo más (Prisa Radio), P.A. Criminal - Um Podcast de True Crime (Adsmovil Audio Network), and more.
