With offices in Naples, Florida, Short Hills, New Jersey, and New York City, The Matina Group has been advising clients in Naples and across the U.S. for over two decades. Michael previously served as a senior fiduciary advisor for a bank trust company and brings over 15 years of experience in the legal and wealth management industries. He holds a JD, MBA, LL.M, CTFA, and is licensed to practice law in both Florida and New Jersey. Michael is a strong addition to an already successful team, providing a holistic approach to wealth management for individuals, families, trusts, and foundations.

A Southwest Florida native since 1989, Michael earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) at Vanderbilt University, graduating cum laude; a Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Tax Law, Trust and Estates Law, and Finance at the University of Miami; and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation at Villanova University. After working in Palm Beach for five years, Michael moved back west with his family in 2017 where he worked for Akerman LLP as a Tax, Wills, Trusts, and Estates Attorney.
