Triton International Completes Acquisition of Global Container International

July 1, 2025 -- Triton International Limited (“Triton” or the “Company”) today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Global Container International LLC (“GCI”).

GCI operates a container fleet of approximately half a million TEU and its customers include many of the world’s largest shipping lines.

Brian Sondey, Triton’s Chief Executive Officer commented, “We are pleased to complete this transaction and integrate GCI’s complementary container fleet and well-structured long-term lease portfolio into Triton. This acquisition will enable us to further enhance the value and service we deliver to our customers.”
