About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Hightouch Opens NYC Office and Adds New Leadership to Power Next Phase of Growth

Company scales global team to meet surging demand for real-time personalization and better business outcomes

Hightouch, the leading data and AI agent platform for marketers, today announced the opening of its New York City office and the appointment of Chelsea Williams as Head of HR. These moves, alongside global expansion, mark the next phase in Hightouch’s mission to help brands activate their data and deliver more personalized, AI-powered marketing that drives measurable results.

The new NYC office, already home to 45 team members across sales, marketing, customer success, and engineering, strengthens Hightouch’s commitment to a distributed workforce that can support customers at scale. The company has also doubled headcount in EMEA, enabling faster, more tailored service for international clients. Hightouch now employs more than 250 people worldwide and is valued at over $1.2 billion.

Williams joins as Head of HR to scale talent, culture, and employee experience across Hightouch’s global footprint. She brings more than a decade of HR leadership in high-growth tech, most recently serving as VP of People & Culture at Cordial, where she built programs for performance, leadership development, and engagement to support rapid scaling.

“Hightouch is redefining how marketing teams move from data to decisions in real time, and that kind of product ambition deserves an equally strong people foundation,” said Chelsea Williams, Head of HR, Hightouch. “My focus will be to scale a culture where every team member can thrive: from hiring and onboarding to growth and development. As we expand in New York and globally, we’ll invest in the people and practices that help our teams do the best work of their careers.”

“New York City is a hub for sophisticated businesses that want to harness their data to grow faster,” said Tejas Manohar, Co-Founder and co-CEO of Hightouch. “Our growth on the east coast has been incredible, and we’re investing to accelerate it even further.”

Built natively on the data warehouse and powered by AI, Hightouch enables marketing and data teams to collaborate seamlessly, without the delays and limitations of legacy customer data platforms (CDPs). The platform supports hundreds of enterprise and high-growth customers across industries, helping them deliver personalized customer experiences, optimize performance marketing, and move faster with confidence.

The expansion follows a year of significant product innovation, including the launch of AI-powered Adaptive Identity Resolution and the continued growth of Hightouch’s AI Decisioning capabilities, which automate campaign decisions and scale personalization. Strategic investments from Snowflake Ventures, Capital One Ventures, and Databricks Ventures further cement Hightouch’s position at the center of the modern marketing stack.
