Simeone & Miller LLP Announces “Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship” Spring 2024 Scholarship Winner

Washington, DC – Simeone & Miller LLP is proud to announce that our Spring 2024  “Good Lawyers / Good People,” Scholarship will be awarded to Ashley Scanlan, attending the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN. The “Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship” is given to students who aspire to use the law to achieve justice and make the world a better place.

Simeone & Miller strives to be both good lawyers and good people everyday by aggressively advocating for our clients while also being the trusted advisor they need.  The Good Lawyers/Good People scholarship seeks to assist students who aspire to do the same thing and to make a positive difference through the law.  

Ashley Scanlan is a law student at the Michell Hamline School of Law, pursuing her law degree. She submitted a heartfelt written statement showcasing her dedication to advocating for those in need and her commitment to using the law as a force for positive change in her community. Simeone & Miller is very pleased to recognize her efforts and help her continue her journey.

For students to receive the “Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship,” law school and undergraduate students must submit a video statement, between 3 to 5 minutes in length, or a written statement, between 800 to 1000 words, explaining how the law can be used to improve the lives of other people. Students can describe someone who inspires them, a past experience that motivates them, or their vision of what they want to accomplish in the future. Simeone & Miller awards this scholarship bi-annually during the spring and fall semesters.
