NYCEDC to Release RFEI for Life Sciences Center at SPARC Kips Bay, up to $100M Development Budget Allocation

(Beni Ancheta, NewsUSA Reporter) - New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is looking for a top-tier partner developer to lead the establishment and operation of the eastern part of the state-of-the-art Life Sciences Center at SPARC Kips Bay. 

 

The Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) will be released on Monday, March 4, 2024, expecting proposals from future-oriented responders who are  highly motivated by the technological advancements in life sciences. The RFEI seeks to receive convincing proposals achieving the following objectives: Drive Translational Research & Development (R&D) and Commercialization, Create Interdisciplinary Partnerships, Advance Talent Development, and Integration with other SPARC Kips Bay components.

 

NYCEDC plans to issue the developer RFP in 2025.

 

The Life Sciences Center at SPARC Bay will serve as a unique hub for life sciences careers, education, and innovation. It should strengthen the position of the life sciences industry in NYC.
