Dr. Cynthia Higgins is a Motivational Speaker, Psychiatrist, and Integrated Energy Therapist. She was recently selected to be featured in the 2nd Edition of the Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

While being selected to be published in IAOTP’s Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication, is an honor, only 50 of the world’s most brilliant, courageous, inspirational professionals are selected for this distinction.

Dr. Cynthia Higgins' mission is to assist individuals in embracing their best selves. She finds it immensely fulfilling to assist people in reclaiming the potential they were unaware they possessed. Her work is primarily influenced by epigenetic research. Although Dr. Higgins jokes about being "psycho-spiritual," there is scientific proof for both our spiritual and energy experiences. Wherever possible, she employs a mixed approach in her treatment, which alters both the situation and the individual.

Dr. Higgins is about harnessing the power of our beliefs and the physical, emotional, and physiological effects they have on us. She believes that humans have an unfortunate inclination to identify with and be defined by a diagnosis or set of circumstances. This misunderstanding has the potential to plague generations at a time.

With over two decades of professional experience as a Psychiatrist and Integrated Energy Therapist, Cynthia has proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Cynthia has demonstrated success as a seasoned and trusted psychiatrist and an Energy Therapist. Her impressive repertoire of prior roles have included: Staff Psychiatrist for Verde Valley Guidance Clinic, Director of Psychiatric Services for Mingus Mountain Academy, Child, Adolescent, Adult Psychiatrist and Integrated Energy Therapist for Transformations PC, and currently working as a Psychiatrist, and Spiritual Life Coach for her own practice that is located within the MindSpa Integrative Wellness Center. Last year, Cynthia developed Cracking the Dharma Code, an online interactive, and purpose-finding class for Empaths/Highly Sensitive People. Her current project, Sacred Partnership Coaching, is a combination coaching and online learning platform exclusively for men that assists them in modeling a more inclusive definition of masculinity, one that supports them in exploring true healing in the aftermath of a traumatic breakup or disappointing patterns in their personal lives. Because of societal stigma around emotions, they represent a decidedly neglected segment of the population in terms of the help they receive around this issue. These represent two of the many courses that will be offered through her online university that is dedicated to releasing the energetic/unconscious factors that compromise our ability to reach our life goals.

Cynthia earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Princeton University. She completed her Medical Internship, Department of Psychiatry from Duke University School of Medicine, and her Doctor of Medicine in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program from the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine. She has certifications in The Healing Angel Protocol™, The Emotional Freedom Technique, Source Tapping (Specialized Emotional Freedom Technique), and is a Master Level Instructor Integrated Energy Therapy®.

Cynthia has received awards and accolades throughout her illustrious career and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. Dr. Higgins was named the Top Energy Psychiatrist of the Year and Empowered Woman by The International Association of Top Professionals and graced the front cover of T.I.P., Top Industry Professionals Magazine. Cynthia has also appeared as a motivational Speaker and Radio Guest at CUTV News. Cynthia attributes her success, in retrospect, to tenacity, mentors she has had along the way, and remaining enthusiastic in all her business activities.
