About Cabling Installation & Maintenance

Our mission: Bringing practical business and technical intelligence to today's structured cabling professionals

For more than 30 years, Cabling Installation & Maintenance has provided useful, practical information to professionals responsible for the specification, design, installation and management of structured cabling systems serving enterprise, data center and other environments. These professionals are challenged to stay informed of constantly evolving standards, system-design and installation approaches, product and system capabilities, technologies, as well as applications that rely on high-performance structured cabling systems. Our editors synthesize these complex issues into multiple information products. This portfolio of information products provides concrete detail that improves the efficiency of day-to-day operations, and equips cabling professionals with the perspective that enables strategic planning for networks’ optimum long-term performance.

Throughout our annual magazine, weekly email newsletters and 24/7/365 website, Cabling Installation & Maintenance digs into the essential topics our audience focuses on.

  • Design, Installation and Testing: We explain the bottom-up design of cabling systems, from case histories of actual projects to solutions for specific problems or aspects of the design process. We also look at specific installations using a case-history approach to highlight challenging problems, solutions and unique features. Additionally, we examine evolving test-and-measurement technologies and techniques designed to address the standards-governed and practical-use performance requirements of cabling systems.
  • Technology: We evaluate product innovations and technology trends as they impact a particular product class through interviews with manufacturers, installers and users, as well as contributed articles from subject-matter experts.
  • Data Center: Cabling Installation & Maintenance takes an in-depth look at design and installation workmanship issues as well as the unique technology being deployed specifically for data centers.
  • Physical Security: Focusing on the areas in which security and IT—and the infrastructure for both—interlock and overlap, we pay specific attention to Internet Protocol’s influence over the development of security applications.
  • Standards: Tracking the activities of North American and international standards-making organizations, we provide updates on specifications that are in-progress, looking forward to how they will affect cabling-system design and installation. We also produce articles explaining the practical aspects of designing and installing cabling systems in accordance with the specifications of established standards.

Nadrich Accident Injury Lawyers Investigates New Acetaminophen Autism Claims

California dangerous drug law firm Nadrich Accident Injury Lawyers is investigating claims that acetaminophen caused children to develop autism spectrum disorder.

(PRUnderground) October 6th, 2025

The California-based dangerous drug law firm Nadrich Accident Injury lawyers, following President Trump’s recommendation that pregnant mothers not take acetaminophen, is investigating claims that children have developed autism spectrum disorder after being exposed to the medication while in the womb. Families may benefit from consulting an Acetaminophen Autism Lawyer at Nadrich Accident Injury Lawyers to better understand their rights.

“Victims may be able to recover financial compensation through the legal process,” said Jeffrey Nadrich, founding attorney of the firm.

President Trump, on September 22, 2025, publicly recommended that pregnant women not take acetaminophen. This has reignited debate around the question: Does Acetaminophen cause autism?

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), on the same day, issued a physician notice which stated that “evidence has accumulated” in recent years which suggests that the use of acetaminophen by pregnant women might be linked to a higher incidence of their children developing neurological conditions like autism spectrum disorder or ADHD. The notice recommended that clinicians consider minimizing acetaminophen use for low-grade fevers during pregnancy.

The FDA is beginning the process of initiating an acetaminophen safety label change, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will be launching a nationwide public service campaign in order to protect public health and inform families.

A meta-analysis published on August 14, 2025, in Environmental Health found that the researchers’ analyses supported evidence which is consistent with a link between neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, and exposure to acetaminophen during pregnancy. The meta-analysis involved 46 studies. 27 of the studies found positive associations, nine found null associations and four showed negative associations. Positive associations were more likely in the higher-quality studies.

The investigation into acetaminophen fits into a broader pattern of product safety concerns. Nadrich Accident Injury Lawyers also represents victims in cases involving other dangerous consumer products adversely impacting a child’s well-being, including dangerous baby formula side effect lawsuits.
