UNIONDALE, NY / ACCESS Newswire / September 30, 2025 / Marquis Who's Who honors Nikki Nielsen for success in the sports industry. Ms. Nielsen serves as director of business process development at Parsons Xtreme Golf, known as PXG. She has been with the company since 2015 and has progressed through multiple leadership roles.

Leadership In Business Development
In her current position, Ms. Nielsen oversees the launch of a new e-commerce platform designed to improve customer experience and streamline operations. She is also developing a loyalty program to strengthen retention and engagement among golfers. Her expertise resides in cleaning and redeveloping problem departments. As a result, she has become a respected leader in the field.
Ms. Nielsen stepped into her current role in 2022 after serving as PXG's director of global supply chain. During that time, she modernized and digitized processes. Her efforts enabled end-to-end visibility and certified secondary factories to minimize risk in case of disruptions. These changes provided PXG with greater stability in an industry that relies on a small number of factories worldwide.
Global Payment Integration Achieved at PXG
"My biggest and most impactful project has probably been when I started as the director of process development," Ms. Nielsen says. In this role, she oversaw the overhaul of PXG's payment processing system. When she joined the business process division, the company relied on five separate payment processors across its U.S., Canada, Japan and UK branches.
The system lacked integration, global visibility and fraud protection. Within one year, Ms. Nielsen introduced new systems that solved compliance and fraud concerns. "We probably saved over $4 million in payment processing and fraud," she says.
Childhood Ties to Golf
Ms. Nielsen's career in golf began long before joining PXG, due to her family's long history of owning and operating golf courses. Her passion for the game started early, having won her first tournament at age five.
Initially, Ms. Nielsen considered becoming a professional player. Instead, she pursued work in other aspects of the game, including course maintenance, food service and pro shop operations. Later, she attended PGA seminars to become a Class A teaching professional before transitioning into business leadership.
Before her current career, Ms. Nielsen held several positions at PXG. These roles included director of operations and customer service manager. Before joining the company, she worked as an assistant golf professional at Ancala Country Club and Starfire Golf Club.
Community Interests and Golf Innovations
Outside her career, Ms. Nielsen supports community programs. These civic engagements involve PGA Hope and Folds of Honor. She also donates handmade amigurumi crafts to Phoenix Children's Hospital each year. Additionally, she and her husband, Jeremy, are working on making golf more accessible to children and women.
In the meantime, Ms. Nielsen continues to track developments in the golf world, paying particular attention to recent growth surrounding the LIV Golf Tour and Tiger Golf League. "I have a feeling that's going to be how we start to get people more interested in the game and make it more fun," she says.
A Passion for Daily Operations
Ms. Nielsen credits her success to the strong work ethic instilled by her hardworking family. "I love the daily grind, being in the weeds of the daily operations and thinking outside the box," she says. Additionally, in a male-dominated industry, her ability to earn respect and trust has been a key factor in her advancement.
Ms. Nielsen holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Grand Canyon University. She is considering further education with programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Wartburg College. Ultimately, she aspires to become the chief operating officer one day.
