Systecon North America Releases Outcomes of Predictive Analytics Summit 2025

Defense leaders, OEMs, and sustainment experts convened at The Kennedy Center to define the future of readiness through the use of predictive analytics.

Systecon North America announced the successful conclusion of the Predictive Analytics Summit 2025, held at The REACH, Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The summit brought together senior Department of War (DoW) officials, leading OEMs, and sustainment professionals for a full day of discussion, case studies, and forward-looking analysis on how predictive analytics is shaping the future of defense readiness.

The program featured keynote addresses, industry panels, and in-depth sessions on applying data-driven modeling to enhance sustainment strategies, optimize logistics, and ensure mission readiness. From exploring the evolution of readiness beyond steady state assumptions to showcasing regional sustainment practices, attendees highlighted the growing role of predictive analytics as a mission-critical capability.

“Predictive analytics is no longer a supporting function but instead becoming the foundation of sustainment strategy across defense enterprises,” said an executive at Systecon North America. “This summit showcased the momentum building across services, industry, and partners. We are proud to bring together the people and tools shaping the next era of readiness.”

Notable sessions included Maj. Gen. David Sanford (DLA) challenging legacy approaches to readiness, Pratt & Whitney’s F135 Sustainment Director emphasizing forward-looking modeling, and Ms. Lisa P. Smith, a member of the Senior Executive Service and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Product Support, serving as the principal advisor to the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), emphasizing the centrality of analytics in product support. Panels also highlighted the transition of the Regional Sustainment Framework (RSF) from policy to practice, with predictive models now guiding depot planning, supply chains, and logistics hubs.

The event featured demonstrations of AI-driven sustainment modeling, advances in visualization within Opus Suite, and an emphasis on expanding community capabilities to meet evolving operational demands. The closing remarks by Lt. Gen. (Ret., USAF), representing the DoW, reiterated the urgency of adopting predictive models across all sustainment domains.

The summit underscored a pivotal shift: defense sustainment is moving from reactive approaches to anticipatory, data-driven strategies.
