Good news… Houpu Engineering won the bid for the green hydrogen project

Recently, Houpu Clean Energy Group Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Houpu Engineering”), a subsidiary of HQHP, won the bid for the EPC general contracting of the Shenzhen Energy Korla Green Hydrogen Production, Storage, and Utilization Integration Demonstration Project (hydrogen production bid section) Project, it’s a good start for 2023.

The project is the first green hydrogen production, storage, and utilization full-scenario innovative demonstration project in Xinjiang. The smooth progress of the project is of great significance to promoting the development of the local green hydrogen industry chain, accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the energy industry, and promoting economic and social development.

The project covers photoelectric hydrogen production, hydrogen storage, heavy truck refueling, and combined heat and power full closed-loop application scenarios. It will build a 6MW photovoltaic power station, two 500Nm3/h hydrogen production systems, and a HRS with a refueling capacity of 500Kg/d. Supply hydrogen for 20 hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks and a 200kW hydrogen fuel cell cogeneration unit.

After the project is put into operation, it will show new ways for the Xinjiang region to solve the problems of new energy; provide a new solution about the range shortens in winter of electric vehicles caused by the cold; and provide demonstration scenarios for the greening of the entire process of coal-fired transportation. Houpu Engineering will actively develop its integration capabilities of hydrogen energy technology and resource, and provide hydrogen energy technical support and services for the project.
