Waitr Powered by ASAP Adds Flower Delivery to Services Offered

Waitr Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: WTRH) (“Waitr” or the “Company”) today announced it has begun florist deliveries. It’s the newest item the Company will bring to you as it shifts to delivering ‘anything’ to consumers, same day, from any type of business.

The new florist service successfully debuted in Greenville, South Carolina as part the Company’s integration with software logistics provider Burq. This is one of the first applications of the recent partnership between Waitr and Burq, which allows deliveries from several new retail industries, including apparel, fashion, luxury and sporting.

“Customers who receive flowers or, in fact, any new delivered item can expect the same excellent standard of service they’ve always had with us with restaurant orders,” said Carl Grimstad, Chairman and CEO of Waitr.

As part of its new “deliver anything” business model, Waitr will soon rebrand and change its name to ASAP.

“All of us are excited as we transition to ASAP and deliver more and more from new retail outlets,” Grimstad continued. “A great example is the floral industry where retailers tell us their need for additional delivery support. We’re able to utilize our vast driver base to meet the demands of our new partners and customers.”

About Waitr Holdings Inc.

Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr operates an online ordering technology platform. It will soon be renamed ASAP as it transitions into a broader deliver anything model including food, alcohol, apparel, flowers, auto parts, CBD products and more. Its proprietary in-stadium delivery system now provides an enhanced fan experience at sports and entertainment venues. Additionally, Waitr facilitates access to third parties that provide payment processing solutions for restaurants and other merchants. Waitr, along with Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes, is a convenient way to discover, order and receive a wide variety of on-demand products. As of March 31, 2022, they operate in approximately 1,000 cities throughout the United States.
